1. Arrival at Base Camp: After the trek to Acatenango’s base camp, your guide will evaluate weather and safety conditions to decide whether the Fuego hike can proceed.
2. The Hike: The five-hour round trip from base camp includes descending from Acatenango and crossing a rugged saddle that connects the two volcanoes.
3. The Reward: Stand on Fuego’s slopes and experience the thrill of being near an active volcano, with unparalleled views of its eruptions and the surrounding landscapes.

• The Fuego hike costs an additional 32 USD per person (minimum of 2 participants required).
